Sewer Lines

The sewer line is one of the most underappreciated items in the home…..until it breaks.  Sewer lines cannot be visually inspected which is why no one things about them.  The lines can become collapsed, pipes offset, grease in the lines, roots in the lines, or any number of other issues.  Since it typically, it costs $150-$200 to rotor rooter the lines and $5,000-$12,000 to replace the line, we strongly recommend inspecting the sewer line on any home over 20 years old.
